Sellers do you want top dollars for you home? Listen to your Realtor

Every sellers dream is to maximize return on their home.

The problem is: if the home does not get showings or contract they jump Realtor. If they are not happy with the only low ball contract they have received on their home they make the task tough for everyone since they feel they are giving away home.

What can sellers do to get the top dollar?

Number 1:  Advise for all sellers listen to your Realtor. They are professional and not a media follower.

Number 2:  Invite a stagger or a declutter your home. Ask your Realtor if they were walking in buyer shoe in this home what negative they will see in the home. Follow the recommendations

Number 3: Sellers leave your emotions somewhere else. If you are selling your home think as a business transaction. OK if you have too many emotional memories attached to your home think about your plans beyond the sell of this home.

Number 4: Your Realtor bring feedback from the agents/buyers. Be open mined about the criticism you received. Learn from them rather than trying to justify.

Number 5: Understand your market. Its all about numbers. Go see your competitors homes, ask your Realtor for weekly comps in the area. If you educate and stay ahead of the game you won't feel you did not get top dollars for your home.
